Cheap wide angle lens for Canon

Looking for a cheap wide angle (10/12mm-?) and dont mind if its manual only as it wouldn't get a huge amount of use. Anything exist out there?
 
Sigma 14mm f/2.8 EX HSM - got mine (as a swap) for £250. Very sharp lens and very well built. Replaced by the 15mm a few seasons back.

If you want a zoom then the Tokina 12-24mm f/4 is hard to beat at current used prices of between £250-£300. You might not get a minty one for that price but it'll be near enough and TBH, as long as the optics are good there's no worry...
 
yeah ive fancied the tokina for a while but wondered if there were cheaper options around, like manual focus hidden gems etc.
 
Samyang 14mm f/2.8

Very sharp lens, out-resolves the amazing nikkor 14-24 at 14mm (according to the lenstip review).
All manual.

I believe it's also for sale manufactured by some other names (rokinon, falcon, walimex and bower).

Only real downside is the pretty distinct and somewhat complex barrel distortion.
 
yeah ive found that one too, would like a bit wider if possible without going fisheye. Its to let me go wider than my 17-50, for the odd occasion i need/would like it.

Id go for a cheap M42 WA len's and adpator, wouldn't cost more than 50 quid i woudn't of thought.

There are no obvious M42 lenses wider than 17mm available, and even the Zenitar 16mm is £120.00 odd and is known to be pretty crap due to build quality variences

There is a Samyang 8mm available in Canon EF mount, but I believe it's more of a fish eye.
 
I had a feeling there wasn't any wide-angle m42's as id never spotted one but was hoping to be surprised. I'm not keen on the 8mm samyang as its a fish-eye and wanted to stay away from those really.
 
Depends on how cheap is cheap.You should pick up a used sigma 10/20 for about £200/250
