Children of Kikambala

Hi, I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts on this........

It was taken last year in Kikambala village while on our honeymoon in Kenya. The qualities not great as it was taken with my wifes Finepix A340.
For some reason it's a photo that's grown on me recently, maybe due to the emotional attachment I have with it, i just don't know :shrug:

I'm a newbie at commenting on other peoples photos, but I agree with oldgit about the lighting. Other than that, I do like the photo.

I like it.. you could look at the lighting in 2 ways.. its a bit off!! flair, harsh ect..

But.. THATS THE POINT!!

Its a hot place!! it adds to the atmospere.. hot and arrid.. Working in the baking sun.. You know what i mean...

Agree the haze/flare adds to the hot sun look. Like the way you can follow the path back into the picture.

The lighting is harsh, It was shot into the sun during early afternoon, i was surprised the A340 could handle such light.
