Chinese battery packs?

The only ones I ever had returned were Pixel's Canon-fit versions, the Nikon ones were fine, the Canon ones had a nasty habit of being dead straight out the box.....
 
Have had my Canon one for 6 months and only used 3 or 4 times with no problems

All of the Canon/Nikon replicas use AA's. If you want one that uses a rechargeable battery you are jumping into a whole different league along the lines of Quantum or Nissin.

They all take AA batteries, the next step up, as Mark says are the Quantum types, which are £££....
