Had'nt seen this thread before.
But yes, I agree with v8, 1st shot is lovely, good lighting, nice little catchlight in her eye. Only thing is, you can see the shadow from her nose on the right side of her face (left side from where we're looking). But other than that, its a very cute photo.
Not sure about second shot as the pic you posted is quite small. But from what it looks like, the lighting is quite strong in certain places, on the guys shirt, and on her face.

I'm glad I looked at the imageshack picture as the tiny photo doesn't do her any justice at all. It's a shame that the shadow falls across her face but other than that you have caught a very sweet expression on a pretty little girl.
