Circuit race

First outing with my new 40D yesterday and also with a 430EX flash for the last 20-min of the race which usually ends at sunset. Either I'm getting better at panning or the 40D can handle panning better than the 400D I was using... maybe a bit of both. Anyway, I was quite pleased with the results, though would appreciate C&C as usual.

Good shots
I found the 40d is great for cycling photos, especially with 6 fps

no3 and no5 are my fav, good composition
Good panning with no6.

Hope to take some circuit shots myself once they finish Hog Hill

These are really good - the exposure is excellent on them but more importantly your composition is very good in the group shots. I like the DOF you have used that nails the lead rider but still allows just enough detail in the following riders to see the PAIN!!!
