Should I use a reflector or a sceond light for those that do it for when I am doing a portriat shot?
 
If you're going to be using it a lot then buying a Triflector is money well spent IMO.
 
I disagree. In the most commonly used configuration - with the side flaps up - they make faces broader than usual - which is ok for men, not often for women - and have horrible catchlights.

Well very true if you don't adjust it and just pop it up in the same config every time (which far too many are guilty of)

I just find it much easier than faffing about with holding a reflector, or balancing it elsewhere. I know it's not gonna move from where I want it.
