I all just wondering what would you use to clean dust and condensation off filters and lens?
Thanks

A would suggest a Henry or a Dyson.

Seriously, a cloth maybe? wipe it on your tshirt?

Microfibre cloths are ten a penny although ive never had an issue just blowing on mine and giving it a quick wipe on my tshirt.

I was just worried about scratching the really funds are tight and I dont want to ruin what little glass I have! I have a micro fibre cloth but it seems to me to be a bit coarse.

Test any MF cloths on a cd, if it leaves any scratch marks don't use it on lens or filters etc. I like the little ones you can buy from opticians.

It depends - Hoya or B&W get cleaned with IPA/Water 50/50 and a microfibre cloth. Tiffen filters get cleaned with a brillo pad.

Some Hoya filters have a coating that reacts with alcohol based cleaners and clean water is recommended once dry cleaning has proven unsuccessful. B&W are less fussy and their own cleaner is silicone based.
