First try with close up shots on film.
Rollei SL35E Planar 50mm lens and Fuji Superia 200Asa. Taken in June.Natural light only.
I have cropped a lot of the rubbish away.

I like the almost glowing light effect on the plants in #1, but to be honest the heavy dish from this angle just dominated the frame too much so overall I'm not keen

The second one is much more to my taste, I like how you've exposed for the flowers and allowed the background to drop away to black, keeping the attention focused onto the object of the shot.

Thank you for your comments, I have to agree about the pot rim, I thought it would add to the overall feel of the photo, but it has not. Still unless you try and all that.
