For the first time this afternoon, I trusted my faithful companion to behave herself off the lead, and took my 10D with me across the fields.

And she stood still for about 3 seconds..."Hurry up, what's keeping you?"

Thanks, and good question Mark - it was because I didn't want to risk carrying the 'main' camera on sodden uneven ground when I had a excitable Springer pup about
