Cokin P to Z adapter?

Hi All, this is my first post here so I haope I've poted in the right section.

I have just got a Sigma 10-20 lens and currently only a P series holder. I was wondering if I would be able to use a Cokin P series Holder to Z-Pro adapter instead of forking out for a Z pro holder?

Would this cause any vignetting issues.

Firstly Pete welcome to the forum.

From what I've read the P series holders will still work with the 10-20 lens, but will vignette at lower focal lengths.

People seem to have gotten round this by buying cheap holders from ebay and cutting off the end two filter slots.

Do a quick search and you'll find plenty of results to read through.

Sorry bigvin, I forgot I posted this and got no email notification of your reply.

Anyways thanks for your help. In the end I just bought a cheapo P holder and chopped the second filter lugs off. I still get a tiny bit of vignette at 10mm but it's easily removed in ACR.
