Hi all

I am in need of a little assistance I have some images that were taken in a studio... (First time of doing studio stuff) and I am not happy with some of the background and would like to try colour replacement.

These are white backgrounds however I have some shadow detail that I want to get rid of and I was wondering if anyone could explain a quick method of carrying this out.

thanks in advance

If you're using PS you can click on Image -> Adjustments -> Replace Colour: hold down the shift key & move the pointer across the background, then change the lightness, hue & saturation one by one. It's usually best to do this with a new layer so you can erase any areas from the model you want kept as it was. Not sure how other software does it I'm afraid.

I will be using CS3 so I will give that a go when I get home and see if I can do what i am trying to do.... If I get any problems i will post a cry for help and describe where I have fallen over..

Cheers

Nigel
