Colt Crag reservoir

That is great, would like to see it bigger, i love the effect of the water and the way the sun is reflected. (y)(y)

Chris.

A wonderful smooth feeling to this. I am quite lost in it.

I am going to go against my own grain here and say if it were mine I may be tempted to correct distortion only because of the verticals on the buliding.

Have yet to try out my new 10stop ND...thanks for the insperation :)

Lovely pics. Must have a look at Colt Crag myself soon. I still can't work out why my shots are always dull and grainy when everyone else's are tack-sharp.

Can you tell me what length exposure/ISO setting/aperture you used please?

The symmetry of the B+W wins for me (y)

I like this style, the B&W shot just looks right in an ironworks kind of way. I have to give this stuff a try myself.

More often than not I use f11, ISO100 and a CPL aswell, probably through the day nice and bright a 40-50 sec exposure, where as these were at sunset just over 100 seconds
