Thanks guys,.. he looks like he is reading from an insect autoqueue!! :D

Very nice shot, especially the top one! I've tried a few times taking dragonflies and damselflies - they're very 'flighty', and it's a nightmare trying to get them on a windy day - so kudos to you!

Thanks. I read on my return from the river that its best done early in the morning as they are slower.

Of course I went for my wander along IN the river with my jeans rolled up at 3pm when it was absolutely boiling. Dont know how I found any at all!!

I will post some more of my river wanderings tomorrow.

They FLY slower, Matthew dear! ;) :D

Now, it's past your bedtime...so be off with you!

Thanks for clearing that up for me Janice, I had visions of them having an early morning slow-romp ;)

Excellent Janice! I can see another one zooming around in the background of the second shot too.. no?

Anyway, nice work (y)

Very well taken Janice.Though the first is really top notch for some reason I am more drawn to no2 as it shows a bit of habitat as well. You have a good eye
