Compact(ish) with viewfinder

I've been tasked with finding a compact or slightly larger camera for my mother in law, as her film camera has died.She's set on having a viewfinder, so is there anything out there that fits the bill? G11 maybe?

The Canon Ixus range are cheaper and also have viewfinders I believe. They will be smaller as well than a G11.

They don't shoot RAW or have manual mode like the G11 though.

Canon A720 has a real zooming viewfinder and full PASM modes so can be used in full manual. Quite a lot of features for a compact, although not quite as small as some. I like it.

I would say G11 as it looks like a older style camera what with the dials on top etc. She can shoot in RAW too if she want's to!
