coningsby spitfire and apache

well was last time i shot with the d60 for these, great little camera but i've made the jump to the d300 now so thought id get last trip to coningsby with it the other week. the apache needs work on it, it came up behind the mound so quick i couldn't alter focus in time for it C & C welcome,

No2 is a wonderful image. Shame theres no flames out the exhausts but hey, it's still a great shot. I also love No6, it looks like a 70'6 Polaroid, it has a nice feel with the sun on it. Nice!!

Defo number 2 for me , excellent photo

Two is super. Shows clearly why the pilots have to 'wiggle' down the taxiway. The one with the bonnet off reveals all to clearly that the pilots had a large quantity of high octane gasoline just a few inches in front of their noses, and why Sir Archibald MacIndoe was kept so busy.
