when along to coningsby today for the lincs lancaster association day , caught up with kev shore and ryan. had a nightmare trying to get any decent shots with a gray cloud background so heres my efforts

had a quick play with #3 in lightroom and you could recover it :)
 
Looks like you struggled Kev with the grey skies like the ones in my thread.
Annoying thing is left home at dinnertime in bright sunshine, arrived home at 6pm in bright sunshine and its only 30 - 40 miles to Coningsby :bang:.

They're not as bad as you had said Kev! The light was dreadful. It was great to meet you today.

Not bad considering the conditions. It looks like you might have an artifact on your sensor - above the roundel on the single Spit photo, and above the nose of the Lanc, 2/3s of the way between the nose and the top of the image.
