Hi everyone,
I haven't held a Contaflex since my teenage years, and don't intend doing anything with my new purchase.
I bought it for a very good price, so I have no worries if there is some aspect of the camera that doesn't work.
When it came the shutter fired on all the settings I chose. I then opened the back to check out the interior, and since then the shutter doesn't work.
Is this a pure coincidence - or have I done something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Clive

hi Clive

I've moved this post to the film and conventional section where most of the film shooters (including myself) generally hang out :)

Thanks for reading my miserable post !
After reading several other sites myself - concerning Contaflex shutters, I've decided not to waste anymore time.
I understand that the shutters are very complicated, and prone to failing after a few years. Also expensive to fix.
I now have two paper weights at the very least.

That's a shame. Inspired by your posts I did a bit of research myself and came to a similar conclusion.
