Converting a studio sotbox for hotshoe flash use?

Hey.

I am sitting here checking out the Lastolite Ezybox but am choking at the price for 60x60cm version.

I found this Bowens type softbox here

and was wondering if it would be possible to alter the speedring fitting with some kind of adaptor to make it fit to a light stand with a hotshoe bracket.

Any ideas? I would be happy to spend £20 or so on an adaptor as this will still save big bucks on the money Lastolite are asking.

Something like this would allow you to clamp your strobe to any of your softboxes as long as they have a speedring on them.
