Whilst whizzing around the county the other night finding locations to shoot the sky I stopped off at Carew Castle around 1am. The Milky Way changes angle throughout the year due to us (on Earth) tilting on our axis, so it's near enough vertical around July/August. This view has been on the list for a while to shoot and luck was on my side with the water being held in the tidal mill. Hardly a breath of wind made for almost mirror reflections which made for a nice change. Probably one of my favourite astro images I've created so far. I also created a time-lapse sequence here which will feature in a short film I've been gathering footage for, for the past few years.
