County Hall, London

Hi All

I took this photo of County Hall in London from the London Eye a few months ago. As you can see I have done some work to it. I'm toying with whether or not it works, and as usual with many of my photos, am struggling to be objective about it! So, please give me some feedback about your thoughts.

For me it doesn't work I'm afraid ... I'm not overly keen on the processing but it's the composition that I find really odd, bit of roof coming in bottom left, bit of glazing top left and wherever else I look parts are cut off. For me it would have been better to get down on the pavement and have a go from there.

I agree, nor me i'm afraid ... it has some interest with the curved roof though, I quit like that bit, but it has no clear focal point for me otherwise. ... it feels more like a piece of a larger image, only im left hunting in vain for its subject matter.

Thanks guys. Very helpful feedback. I'm certainly better and more confident at appraising photos than I used to be, but still struggle with my own at times! Probably no different to many others who have the same struggle!
