Beginner Couple of Xmas snaps!

1. only one would do with either a tree for background or plain
2.:shrug:
3.focus is a ring round the bauble not the center - maybe do center spot focus and bounce flash away or defuse it slightly

#1 The framing is a little tight down the LHS, had you moved to the right it would be better. Also why did you shoot at F8? I would have taken it wide open to create some BOKEH and less ISO speed.

#2 Looks very soft, did you use a tripod at the shutter speed used? and again the aperture is too small F8 would have sufficed or wider to keep your shutter speed up and ISO down.

#3 Your onboard flash has killed it.
