The Landscape Years SP Wk 04 Pc 06 Day 179 by Kev_H, on Flickr

Yesterday, upon the stair,
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
I wish, I wish he’d go away...

When I came home last night at three
The man was waiting there for me
But when I looked around the hall
I couldn’t see him there at all!
Go away, go away, don’t you come back any more!
Go away, go away, and please don’t slam the door... (slam!)

Last night I saw upon the stair
A little man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away

I like the first 3. Personally, I'm not keen on the last two.

The 'ghost' in the first works well and I like the red tie as a focal point.

2nd - nice composition and I like the idea of different personalities on show.

3rd - great eye contact. the image really connects with the viewer and I like the treatment/scrapbook effect.

:)

Thanks loopy . For the third one I found and old Polaroid camera with film in it and took a chance shot. Then realised I could use it for that days shot.

4 & 5 were chance shots at doing things a bit different. 4 id gotten an arty bug and after a similar shot involving a cluedo board I wanted to do it again.

Cheers Matt. I always have the poem at the back my head and that day I wanted to try something with it in mind. Sitting on the stairs meant a closer shot opposed to directed upwards which worked better. Fading but retaining the red of the tie I felt was the final image in my head. I am becoming opposed with my alter ego characters though. And may (movie mayhem) is a playground for them..
