I had visited this tree before and taken a few shots but decided that I needed a lower perspective. I revisited the tree and was lucky enough to have some lightening in the distance as I took the shot.

What numbers are you using for the lottery this week? :naughty:

Nice shot anyway but the lightning does add something :)

Great capture with some nice colours and good colour still remaining in the sky (y)

The black and white conversion is good but could be enhanced greatly by adjusting the levels.
Would of edited it to show you, but your edit box is not ticked.

Might start exploring down the river crouch myself (y)

If only I could get those lottery numbers, I forget the last time I even had 3 numbers.

Byrhtnoth, I have ticked the edit box so please feel free to have a go at editing this as photoshop is always a weak spot for me.

I keep telling myself that I will visit Maldon and the Blackwater so it seems like we will cross paths at some point.:)

Both are really nice but think I prefer the colour one just!

Keep these shots coming Maarten - in only 4 posts we've seen this one and the really nice one you shot in Essex :)

Definately a potential lotto winner

Love the shot and as Dod says, it would have worked without the lightning but is great with it.

This thread also reminded me to check weds lottery and I won £59. :D
