Edit My Images
Yes
After using Aperture (mostly lazily) for a number of years, RPP then Capture NX2 got me thinking about using other tools.
I initially was going to use NX2, but I think I can get better results with the following ...

Import files directly into Aperture 3
Delete absolute rubbish, keep everything else, mark images for editing
Adjust WB, Exposure, pull bad shadows and fix any badly blown highlights in A3 (I'm assuimg it's best to do these in A3 while still in RAW?)
For noisy high iso and/or images with noticeable distortion "catapult" them to DXo 9 to correct/denoise and bring back as TIFF - I intend to use DXo 9 as PRIME NR seems to be a step improvement over A3 or Nik Dfine.
Edit Tiffs in Viveza as required for local corrections
Edit Tiffs in Color Efex/HDE/Sivler Pro as required for "creative" effects.
Sharpen as necessary (Nik or A3)

Any suggestions on how this can be improved before I shell out for licences?
