I'm a big fan of Mike Johnston, loved his Sunday Photographer column on luminous landscape, and his blog is the best out there

I have a fair few books on some the artists he picked out, Bressons and winogrand's being the most, but i bought a book on bill brandt (British) while i was away in york

very good, a great read
