Number three does it for me as well lammie, great shot.
We've got one of these that shelters where the garage roof overhangs our front door. We only see him very rarely but he lets us know he's there by the calling cards he leaves on the doorstep.
I appreciate these are not easy to get in decent light lammie, but if I was honest I have seen much better from you  Any exif info? it looks like you got a very shallow dof which aint helping much and maybe a heavy crop  I think more detail has been retained in #2 if anything.
Rich, exif on these 300mm + 2x, f8, 1/500, -0.3ev, iso400. taken using a fully extended monopod and subject was about 6 or 7 yards so a large crop and it didn't stay around very long. Think i'll go back to the tripod.
