Cuba! July this year.

Hi folks!

I'm heading to Cuba middle of July this year, just looking to find out if anyone has been and what the must have opportunities are? Doing 3 night in Havana then 11 nights in Varadero. Still undecided what gear to take and any travel bag recommendations are also welcome.
