Great photograph. The mist provides a great sense of atmosphere. Somehow the "modern" house seems a bit out of place - almost as if there should be a thatched cottage.

Regardless, I like it.

Was this a pano or a 12mm?

Nice pic.

How is the 12-24 on the 5d2? I have a hankering after this lens to play with on my 5.

Its a bit soft in the corners as you'd expect.
Its ok though for that 'something different' or for big skies etc.

Lovely shot of Sgurr nan Gillean - great mountain.

Nicely done Marie, great colours and very sharp throughout.

excellent capture, I was in Skye in August but the weather was so bad we could not even make out a mountain range!

Thanks folks (y)

August was a bit of a washout I'm afraid.
September has been better so far.

Its good to see such a wide view of the area, brings back memories as ive not been for 5 or 6 years now. Its a superb image.

Stunning shot, the mist certainly adds atmosphere.

Very nice Marie. Lovely early evening light and the low cloud makes this image for me.

Some gorgeous light there, and the white building sits comfortably in the frame-I like this a lot.

superb stuff marie, lovely shot :)
