Hi everyone

I'm new here and to the world of photography and looking at buying a nikon d3300.

Would it be worth looking at a double lens kit? I have seen some with the 18-55 and 55-200 or 300, or would a say 18-105/140 be ok for now? Or even just the 18-55?

Could anyone recommend any where to look that won't cost the earth but isn't a grey import company? Seems to be more of them then others when looking.

Thanks for any help you can provide

Adam

If you buy a double lens kit you'll get cashback on the telephoto as well as the camera. (At least I'm pretty sure you do - it has been the case in the past. Worth a phone call to Nikon to check).

I'd say go with a single zoom when starting off eg 18-55 or 18->55 if funds permit as you could miss a lot of shots if you need to keep swapping zooms.

Well seems if not from a grey importer the 18-140 costs a fortune. So will probably like at just the 18-55 for now until I need better. Thanks for help

Or another possibility would be to step down and buy a d3200 with 18-55 + 55-200 for same price as d3300 with 18-55. How much of an improvement is the 3300 over the 3200 other than battery life?
