Kev - I think it's nearer 1 week and 6 days according to all I've read. The Yanks have started getting theirs already

Fabulous how usable the shots are at 12800!

Yep stunning and by all accounts usable ISO is increased by more than one stop possibly two.

Again they raise the bar and have everyone else playing catch up

I don't like shooting over 3200 with the D700 although I realise many are happy with 6400. For me it's going to be a definate two stop advantage

Agreed although I have had been stunned with photo's i have taken at both ISO 6400 up to 12800. As I said another giant leap forward for Nikon.
