d70 batteries

has anyone got any 3rd party batteries?

where are they from and how do they perform? are there any dangers in using them. it's jsut that im going away for a few months in a month and need a few spare batteries, seems that on fleabay you can pick up 2 for less than £15 posted.

I have two third party ones from ebay. I havent yet been able to tell the difference between these and the Nikon ones.

I bought the third party one for my D50, performs exactly the same as the genuine one.

aye, en-el3 on mine. but the newer batteries are en-el3e i think and both fit. just wondering what others use

Ahh ... misunderstood, sorry ! Personally I would go for what was fitted originally ... ?

I bought one from Fleabay a few months back and it's been absolutely fine. It's an En-El3, same as the original one.
