Just a quick question to D700 owners. Have a look at this photo:
Nikon D700, Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 AI
ISO 3200, f/2.8, 1/200, in-camera JPG
I know this is a tricky exposure, in fact it's not a usable image because the singer's moved out of the light. But the rhere's the quite clear streaking artefacts visible on the dark background, caused by the bright "starlight" backlighting. Very simply, has anyone come across this effect before? I have thought I've seen this before but this is the most blatantly obvious example. The camera is quite new so there's the remote possibility that it's a fault but I'd like to canvass opinion first. Thanks for any help in advance.
