D90 + Grip = more fps?

I think the D300 and D300S are the only cameras of any manufacturer which gain extra frames per second by adding the battery grip.

It wasn't in a thick way, just not a great way to market a cameras FPS. Never seen it on any other Nikon.

D300/D300s/D700 - thought it was with the EL4/4a battery with the grip that gave you the extra FPS & not just the grip on its own (with el3e's)...

Althou iirc dont the AA's give you the extra FPS as well.......

I stand corrected, the D300/S and D700 benefit from an increase in continuous frame rate with the battery grip and the right type of batteries.
