Anyone tell me what this is?

I thought it may be a 'Large Red' not yet got it's full colour but I really don't know.

Looks like a Small Red Eyed Damsel Fly (Erythromma viridulum) to me (y)(y)

Having 'googled' for am image of the Small Red Eyed... it does'nt look like it.

Has it not yet got it's colour? which is black and blue with red eyes?
 
Sorry Mick, I was looking at the wrong image in my book. It's the Small Red (Ceriagrion tenellum), not Red Eyed as I stated

It looks a bit more like it.

But, would it of been this colour. I would say it was the same colour as 'skin' very pale, and the same size as a 'blue damselfly'

There was definately no sign of 'red' in it's colouring.

It's just about the same colour in the book I was looking at as it is in your pic.
