Took these shots in the garden today. It's the first time I've seen a Damselfly catch it's prey.

like how lunch tries to hold on in #1 and tries to have his final meal in #2.
im not expert in photography but is that the light reflection over the damselfly's eye in #1?
 
Wow, good job catching that... interesting series. Now, where did that damselfly put all the bug it just ate ??
 
i'd love to see a damselfly with a few holes in its wings and then have bubble liquid put between the holes and see the results!

It would likely die in a few seconds. :nono:
Bubble liquid, or other detergent-based solutions break down the surface tension of water. Insects rely on this property to keep water from sticking to their exoskeletons, which they breathe through. Spraying it with bubble liquid will drown it.
