hey all, I recently had some images printed at Asda, I thought the quality was great apart from being a bit dark, I also heard this about photobox. Where does prints that arent a tad dark? prefereably not togsprint as they are quite expensive for 9x6 prints, ok if they are for personal use but not to sell on.

ive had a bit of a nightmare lately too.

i dont know whats going on with printing companies.

i found jessops in store to be the best, so i then used jessops online, and they completely fugded my pictures, they have over sharpened them, undersaturated, they are just terrible, and they say that there is nothing wrong with them!, i sent the pictures back to them with sample of how they have come out from jessops in store ( same files) and they still think they are ok!.

ive resorted to printing them myself, much better!

these are photos for someones wedding album.

you have to send images as sRGB to places like asda or photobox for small prints. have a look at the image in a non colour managed program and tilt your monitor and see if you get a match.
