Datacolor Spyder 4 or 5?

Hey

I'm considering purchasing a Datacolor Spyder 4.

The only dilemma I really have is whether I should purchase the Spyder 4 now or wait until a Spyder 5 is released.

I have seen from the Datacolor newsletter archive that the Spyder 4 series was released around January 2012. Spyder 3 I think was already out in 2008. So I am wondering if a Spyder 5 might be on the horizon.

I'm sure the Spyder 4 would satisfy all my needs though with a new generation would possibly come further accuracy. I guess it is unlikely anybody with have any inside knowledge of future releases but just thought it might be worth asking just in case anybody has caught wind of any info. If a new series were to be released in the next few months it would be worth the wait.

Does anybody know anything of a Spyder 5 series?

I would have thought it was an imminent release.

How do I know, simples, I have just bought a Spyder4 and every time I buy anything computor or camera related an all new much better and often cheaper new version is announced within weeks

Not heard anything to confirm this though
