Paige & I went for a walk this afternoon and I took my new (used) Nifty Fifty for its first outdoor outing. (bought it from DOD a week or so ago - cheers DOD! )

Don't even ask how I did this now! I just played around in PS with various tutorials and I came up with something that I really like...probably not to everyones taste though :shrug:

The light was pretty dull but you gotta love this lens for low light stuff!

That was the effect I was looking for. The original did have some colour but the light was poor and very flat anyway. It looks better large though.

Love the first one - great expression and what a little cutie

Good expression in the second one too, but seems a little bit grainy.

I actually prefer #2, the muted colours and that adorable expression make it a classic shot. Yes, its a bit noisy looking, but not unliveable with.

The grain was added on purpose as part of my vision! The original was pretty flat hence why I had a play with the processing.
