Davis & Sanford tripods

Spotted this thread where Amazon have a 30% offer on Davis & Sanford tripods this weekend.

I've not been able to locate many reviews. Does anyone have any first hand experience? Or can you suggest any alternatives with a budget of around £100 and a focus on small size and weight?

Not sure either Mr Davis or Mr Sanford had much to do with those. They look like regular Chinese budget jobs.

And probably decent value, but a tried and tested choice would be RedSnapper for that budget. Get 10% off as a member of TP

The reviews don't look brilliant to be honest. They seem to be a fair bit cheaper in the US than here in the UK too, which I'm not a fan of.

I quite like the look of the RedSnapper RS-284 & RSH-12 Ball Head combo after a quick look. Thanks for the recommendation, just reading up on them.
