...At a sensible price?

I do most of the photography here at work, using a couple of SLRs and lenses, which is fine. However, it's been mooted that another member of staff (not a photographer) should have permanent access to a camera for snapshots and documents when I'm not available for whatever reason.

So, I need a nice simple compact with a decent lens and Auto mode, preferably somewhere between £100 and £150. I was having a look at the Panasonic Lumix FS62 'cos I've used an LX3 and been well impressed. Any opinions? Suggestions?

Cheers!

Try Panasonic FX33 great quality and you should find one for your budget

I bought a Panasonic TZ5 a couple of months ago - it produces reasonable results, big rear screen - but its hard to see in bright light. images are sharp - but don't have that great a 'bite'. Slightly disappointed in the lens really - hoped it would be better. Video is poor in bright light. Very easy to use though. Battery seems to last an age as well. Close ups are pretty good. 8/10 overall really.
