I have a couple of quick question for the Dell users on Mac.

About to buy this monitor but have a couple of simple questions hopefully someone can help with.

When plugging this in through the thunderbolt port/display port will the monitor receive RGB signal? Some people have reported a work around is needed?

When using the monitor and pre-calibration (Spyder 4 Pro) should I set the screen to RGB mode? I guess while working in RGB mode everything will display correctly as normal. As long as everything is exported to sRGB? (of with all my exports are made into sRGB). Lightroom will work as normal and display everything as I'm used to. Safari will work as normal and the display will show the sRGB colors of the internet?

Does the 9 in 1 card reader support CF?

it may not display correctly until you override the EDID.. see my post from another thread:

Just plugged a U2713H into a brand new MBPr via displayport and the quality was shocking. pixelated text, odd colours etc. Also tried it on a (official Apple) DP to DVI-D adapter and that never even got close to the required resolution.

fix was to download an EDID override to stop the Mac trying to use YCbCr.
