Derby Registry Office

At a wedding at Derby Registry Office in a few weeks.

Has anyone shot here before? Can anyone give me any ideas what to expect when I get in there?

I have found some pictures of the outside on the web, and a few small shots of inside, but nothing more.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks guys. I don't have the time to visit before the day - Live to far away. Appreciate you digging up the bbc link. I thought there would be something like that somewhere, is very helpful.

Good luck - I made a right mess of one a couple of years ago, the photos I mean

I had an issue with the registry office weddings I did last year, the colour scheme inside the office was all wrong. The wallpaper was an off-white/creme colour, in fact almost a light orange colour. Shoot in RAW and you can alter the WB later on, but the images were initially very 'warm' and uninviting.

Oh and as there were about 40 people in the small room and it was raining outside, people came into the room slightly damp.... and after a short while it was sooo muggy and humid in the office that my lens was starting to fog up and I needed to keep wiping away the mist and condensation. Wish they'd had air con in there.
