Diego goes to Chester Zoo....

So Jo and I took a road trip to Chester Zoo, taking our friend for a surprise birthday day out. Long drive but worth it. Nice zoo. Walked for about 6.5 hours in all and with a three hour drive each way, a long day but loads of fun! I decided to shoot at 420mm F4 over 2.8 with my extender on my 300mm prime so had to up the ISO as I wanted the length. As such, a couple run through noiseware but looking OK.

Terrific set Pete, if I had to pick a favourite, it would be the Orang Utan.
It's a great zoo isn't it?

Lovely set Pete and glad to see you well enough to get out and about. I particularly like 6,7,8,9,10,&14.

Never been to Chester zoo, but looks like a good place judging by all the super pics from there from everyone here.
