Do you know or have an Olympus xz-2 ?

hi all,

i have been looking for a small digital camera to carry around with me at all times. something with full manual control, shoots raw and has a built in flash and fairly fast lens. i found an olympus xz-2 for sale and contacted the seller. she said the screen is a little cracked but it is still functional. the price is a little less than 100 pounds. The camera is from 2012 originally. Anyone have any experience of this camera? I saw some sample shots online that looked good.

I have an XZ-1 which is similar in many ways. Great glass, fab rear screen & the control ring makes for great ergonomics. Tricky-to-use manual focusing and no viewfinder, though. Manual mode works well but changing ISO takes a couple of button presses. Not brill at high ISO but what do you expect? Focuses fairly close but macro modes are fiddly to use. It was a long time before I outgrew it.

Both the XZ-1 and XZ-2 will take an electronic viewfinder. I also have the XZ-1 and agree with juggler that it's a great camera. The XZ-2 adds tilt screen and higher resolution plus a few other useful extras.
