My computer recently died..its replacement had a 2tb ssd and 3 sata drives in, I've already replaced 2 of the sata drives for my old 1tb ssd and 2tb sata, I can't fit any more drives onto the motherboard but I'm left with a 128g ssd drive and 2 1tb sata drives that came out, seems a shame to chuck them and I can't be bothered selling them or rebuilding my old computer...so I'm thinking if buying a docking station and using these drives as an extra back up..do docking stations work , are they slow to transfer ( I'd do it overnight so not that much of an issue) and are they reliable so that any pictures etc are not corrupted or missing...looking for real world views of people who have used them...if not is there an alternative, I already have a couple of external drives
