Does anybody use HD Video

Just reading AP, most of the adverts for new Cameras, seem to be pushing the fact that the have 'HD Video', does anybody actually use it?

I upgraded to the 500d in June. Sold my old 400d and Panasonic hd recorder to fund it. I dont use the video much, but it's good quality and saves carrying two cameras around.

i bought a JVC HdGZ3 camcorder, just to have hd video and and a hdd built into the camcorder.

great picture quality, sound it good too.
