I am thinking of byeing a 24-70 2.8L Canon and I would like anybody who has used one on a digital Canon.I have read the reviews and they are very good.I have a 28-135 IS that I dont like and want to replace it with a Faster lens.This lens will be my standard lens.So the feed back will be appreciated. Sean
 
Hi Sean, I use this lens for press, landscape and portrait photography and it is fantastic. Razor sharp and reasonably light weight it is my workhorse for these styles of photography. You will not be disappointed if you buy one.
 
lightweight?! well, against the big white zooms yes i suppose so, it is solid though
