Does anyone use canned air for cleaning?

Just wondered if anyone uses the canned air canisters for cleaning their cameras?

Any advice, recommendations, good, bad or should I just stick to the Rocket Blower.

I wouldn't touch the stuff. These canisters use solvents as a propellent and can leave unpleasent residues all over the place. Keep to the Rocket Blower.

I thought this when I was first into it, and aside from the fact that compressed will most likely wreck a lens or body in time (or straight away) in the long run its more efficient and cheaper to just use a rocket

Even the rocket blower can move muck to where you dont want it. See my earlier thread

I bought some a while ago but noticed it kept spitting out some fluid which I suspect wouldn't be good for my camera...

Another shout for the rocket blower

I always used to use the aerosol ones for film cameras - they only leak any fluid if you fail to keep them 100% upright when in use.

I thought they were a bit too powerful for digital so got a rocket blower - the trouble with the blower is that I guess it simply blows any dust around directly into the camera - or do some have some sort of filter ??
