Hi Mike

I think the photo/composition works very well. Theres some very subtle lead in lines in the field, and the flower works well for foreground interested.

On the down side, theres no detail on the flowers as they are blown out and the sky is a little bland and would help with a few clouds.

I'm guess this was taken in the middle of the day, as the light seems a little strong. Taken early/late in the day (golden hours) the colours would not be so faded.

i really like the colours and the view but not 100% sure on the flower in the F/G being out of focus. Overall i would give it a (y)
 
Your right Gerald, middle of the day and the sky was spotless. I do plan to go up tomorrow evening as it is due to be sunny but cloudy and will visit early one morning too.

Still leaning but all part of the course.

Please keep your images to 800 pixels max for display on the forums.

Personally I think the flower head spoils the shot rather than adding to it.

From everyone's replies I think I will try and go take the shot again might be up their tonight will post the revised version if I get, thanks for all the feedback.
