My first attempt at a moving subject

Here's a picture of my dog at her agility class today. I have cropped the image quite a bit, so not sure if it's sharp enough/too noisy?

It looks a little noisey but for me the biggest let down is the flat overcast lighting. Have you tried giving Curves a tweak in photoshop?

What did you have your camera set on?
